"أوشن سبراي" تطلق عصائر التوت البري في المملكة العربية السعودية

وفقاً لتقرير منظمة الصحة العالمية حول ملف المملكة لعام 2014، أن السمنة باتت تشكل مصدر قلق رئيسي للعديد من سكان المنطقة، خصوصاً مع وجود معدل 7 لكل 10 سعوديين يعانون من السمنة، و37% من النساء السعوديات يواجهن مشكلات تتعلق بزيادة الوزن. وكشفت نتائج دراسات حديثة أن كلفة الإنفاق على العلاج من السمنة في المملكة تجاوز 500 ريال سعودي، خصوصاً مرض السكري الذي تعرضت له شريحة كبيرة من المواطنين السعوديين بمن فيهم النساء. انتشر المرض بمعدل مرتفع يثير القلق بنسبة 30% خلال الأعوام الـ 10 الماضية. تقوم وزارة الصحة حالياً بتحديد استراتيجية وطنية لمكافحة السمنة وهي الآن في مرحلة إنشاء مركز وطني لمكافحة السمنة في مدينة الملك فهد الطبية، إضافة إلى بناء خمسة مراكز مماثلة في مختلف أنحاء المملكة.

أظهرت الدراسات مؤخراً أن التوت البري الفاكهة الحمراء الصغيرة تشتهر بتأثيرها الإيجابي على الصحة العامة للجسم، وأن مستخلص التوت البري قام بخفض كمية أنسجة الأنزيمات المضرة والتي ترتبط بأمراض القلب ونمو الورم والتهاب المفاصل، وتشير تجارب جديدة لمرحلة ما قبل السريرية إلى أنه قد يكون لعنصر التنقية الطبيعية من الفاكهة خصائص تحد من الإجهاد التأكسدي ويساعد على تعزيز صحة الجسم بأكمله.
